Sorry to any of those that have wasted their precious time looking at my blog....

I have not had time to blog of course. I have totally changed my life. I now work from home. I do tax returns, bookkeeping for 2 companies, and I am still clearing the Accounts Receivable for a surgeon. I had to go get the hubby's new truck last night. And to top it all off the boys are going to CA to visit the J & L show in two weeks. That means IDs must be gotten for 14 yr olds.

Hmmm? What?

i am so deaf from the concert last night. The Eli Young Band opened, And then Keith Anderson. Now Surely You know them? Eli has a hit with When It Rains and Keith got big with Pickin Wild Flowers and Sunday Morning in America.

So my lil sis is in AZ and I have had her two girls since Sat. I tell you it did not take long for me to get back into being at work at 9:00 instead of 8:00. But the girls go to different schools and have to be there by 8.

And working on spelling and reading is something I did not miss.

Now I just get to ground the boys when the work is not done. So can I be grounded?

The fall is on us and I think I will wish we had taken the boats out a few more times before the winter is done. The only thing is we went so much early on we got broke and tired.

I guess now it is going to get cold. As for all the people in CA I feel for them so. My in laws are out there and the last we heard last night is that it is within 1 mile. Haven't heard anything today. Well enough rambling I have too much to do...

Just a quickie. I will get a real one in soon.

Just to let you know I am okay and just busy. I have switched jobs yet again. I guess you know I went to work for the DR and then he went and joined a group. I tried but I just could not get along with the bssss so they fired me. Now I am not dumb. I could not quit, or I would have to get a new DR. He was so mad. His wife was there at the time and she was crying. I was so happy you just can't imagine. I even had a copy of my updated resume with me.

As soon as the HR b asked to speak to me I smiled and handed her my keys. She was so shocked! I had a job with a surgical Dr in less than 6 hours. I have to say it is different. But I like it. I even got to assist on a vasectomy the other day. You know what they say see one, do one, teach one. Any buddy game. I know a few that need it. I would even do some of them pro-bono (free)! I will get around in the am and see what you guys are up to.

You see at the old job I was working 50 hours a week and the net at home is dial up which sucks!!! I never get on line at home the kids are the only ones with that much patience.

Wll here I am again finally.

I know it has been a while. I have been at the new office for about a month and a half. We joined a "group". I now have to deal with a bunch of buracratic crap! I have been picked on and harrassed since before we even started. Finally I got some in an E mail and gave it to the Dr that got me in this mess. He went off!

And the woman that was my supervisor is no longer. So today I have been giving it back a little. The smallest little thing I call and get her opinion of the code to use. Most of the time the first option I have chosen is the correct one. But it is better than having her go over them with a fine tooth comb and finding a problem.

Now on to some fun stuff. We bought a ski boat and have really been out on the water a lot. This last weekend we took out both the ski and the pontoon and just enjoyd the day.

As for the rest of the bunch the boys are all doing well and hubby really likes working for himself. And he is doing quite well. I hope it continues to grow and he also has a full time worker. Maybe if this keeps up we might get out of debt before I am totally old.

Speaking of old he turns 40 this weekend. And if I am lucky at all his dad and stepmom will stay in CA!

In August we took the neice and nephew back to AZ. We went all over AZ and CA. But I have to OK is much more my style. Sedona was a sight and so was the Grand Canyon . I am glad I got to go. But it is not a pull like Florida is to me. I guess it comes from being a water sign.

I hope all of my pals are still out there and I will get by soon if I have to do it on my lunch time.

I finally got the girls up front replaced and I should have a little bit of a break soon. Well nest week I have to do my Jury Duty. And I am actually hoping I get Chosen! They have to pay me if I do!

I know you have been here and i have not.

I am so sorry I have just been so busy and at home I can't access. So I am getting further behind on my work and letting you know how I am.

I hope you are all doing well and I will get by and see ya soon.

As for us I am working a lot. The Dr. I work for is taking over a clinic for a Non Prof. The move and change over is under way. I think I have battled with every insurance company around. I am so busy you would think I would lose some of this butt. But that is not working.

When we have the chance we are spending a lot of time at the lake. But now hubby wants to buy a new ski boat. I so love the pontoon we have and it is able to pull 2 skiers or 2 tubes. So we are battling over that. I hope he does not find one he wants.

I was on my own for a few days while he made a trip to CA to get his neice and nephew. They are here for the summer with gramma. I will be going with him to take them back the last of July. I am looking forward to it. I am so looking forward to school starting up again. I know I am just a crab. But man these boys can eat!

I know this is not that much but it is the best I could do now.

So to my buddies out in blog land, Nooner, Denise, Alicia, Megan, Photonut, and of course Stepmonster I will get by and get cauth up soon. Oh and of Course Warm...

I am so sorry I just have been so busy!

I have to say this is the first year I have waited till April to file My OWN return.

Does this tell ya how crazy it is here?

Well I hope you have all gotten them done and have some change left in your pockets. I have still got three returns to do, but if they are not in a hurry neither am I. I hope it is not too much longer.

At work it is finally chilling out a little. I am now in the process of fixing a LOT of claims. So I left off the place of service on a few but the biggest hassle is fixing the older ones that I did not do.

I have found it is so easy to do them online. Yeah I am starting to get around to the new fangled crap. Hey the boss is the hard headed one compared to me. But I have to say that for the most part he just lets me take care of things. B will be taking an internship at the hospital in May so I can get things running in a more efficient manor soon.

But I have to say the weather here SUCKS!!!

I had the most beautiful wisteria I have ever seen and all the plants were doing great and just popping up all over the place when WHAM! it freezes. I do not mean a little frost I mean Bust the friggin pipes freezing! Now I have the most pathetic looking tulips, roses, and shrubs not to mention wisteria I have ever seen. Have you ever seen a mess like this? I have known the winter to drag on past now but this is nuts. Our last freeze was the first week of March and then it was dang near Hot! Now we have snow, sleet and freezing temps. I guess I just have some spring feaver.

Hi! I made it back finally.

I think I am starting to get the whole office politics thing.

Even though I still say it is a bunch of BS!!!!

I swear if I so much as say dang where did it go? I just set it here to go pee! I am "attacking" the girl I work with! So on a regular basis I feel like I do not like working with women.

But I have gotten the job rolling along. And I know it will get better.

As for the rest it is moving way too fast. Hubby got his shop done and is moving in now. The boys are into everything. The summer is almost here. I still have not lost all the weight I wanted to. So I am not ready for it. The pond looks bad! Just like it does every year at this time. Leaves!

I know I have really been lacking in the blog department. But at least I am keeping up with the rest of my life. I still have to get the books done for Hubby and get our tax return done. So the way I see it I just have to wait to blog. And who knows one day soon maybe I can get a faster internet service here. And I am sure that I would then make time to blog. When you only have dial up there are a lot of sites that seem to take hours.

But to all the buddies I still have left I will get by and see ya soon. Gotta get and get some work done.

I have to say I love my job.

I have really been having a good time. It is hard and the hours are long. But it is so nice to work with people again. I had gotten to where I felt like I was in solitary confinement.

Now at times I miss the quiet.

I think every one around is sick.

We are slammed. But I was working on billing Thursday when I hit my arm on something. I wound up with a nice bruise. So today when the boss' wife came in she asked what happened. So I looked at my arm and then straight in her eyes. And then I told her how I had told him to bite me the other day, and he did. You should have seen the look on her face. Priceless! Her daughter works with us and she could barely contain herself. She has told me that I am the best thing to happen to that office in years.

Well I try.

They have now let the girl that was doing the billing go. Now it is all on me. So while the docs were happy I burst their bubble too. I told them they just didn't know how I worked. See once I get you so dependent on me. Then I requre double the salary. You would have thought I had shot the minor partner while the main one I work for thought it was so funny and said that is what he wants me to do!

I hope all is going well for you all.

I will get by soon. Oh and in reference to Nadine aka velvettush Scabies are really making a big comeback. They seem to be very common right now at the college.

Well I have some time and I will update.

The boys are making me nuts. The job is going well. I have finally gotten enough courage to make the bills and send them. I have a girl coming in to work with me on the Medicare bills on Monday. They are really giving me fits. I can't access the site on the work computer and the home one is too slow. So I read the comments and your blogs but am unable to leave a comment. But know that I am checking in and keeping up.

The tax season is in full swing and I still have to work up the hubby's books and get ready to do our tax return. Maybe in the next few weeks I will get it all caught up. But just know right now it is not for a lack of effort that I am not leaving comments. I hope you all know that your visists and thoughts are important to me.

With the ice storm that came through here my M-I-L and S-I-L were here due to the loss of power and heat. It was so nice to come home to a nice dinner and a clean house all week. But now she is back home and another work week is starting.

I have been working a lot of long hours and was happy to have her help. You see we all have to suffer some at this time of year.

Just know I wish you all the very best and like Nooner I have to devote the time and energy to other things right now.

Well I am finally on line.

Hubby is asleep. The boys are at their mom's. The fire is blazing.

The bad news is the forman for the construction company I do books for has passed away. He was only 47. He had a massive heart attack and died in the truck at work. So I have been dealing with the fallout.

Work is going. I am trying to pin the B down on some time to go over the billing. I know she is abvoiding me. Oh well this is the last week she will get paid. I had to go to a class last week. I am now fixing her mistakes. So the Drs decided I am ready to muddle my way through on my own.

The boys have been so busy it is not funny. As for the hubby. He got the floor put in the shop this week. He will finish it up in the next few weeks. He is doing well in the shop and as of yet we are sound.

I am not ready for the tax season but what the heck I can use the money. Maybe now I can get the rest of the bills from the surgery I had in Oct paid for.

Today we had to help the boy's mom move. She was doing just fine on her own until the jerk decided to claim she had abandonded the house and put the rest of her stuff out on the porch. She was paid up till the end of the month and was moving this week. She had the major stuff out and was finishing up this weekend. The jerk had hidden the boys skateboards and showed his butt. Well it all worked out and now she is moved it only took about an hour. So they get to clean the house on their own.

I see a lot of strange people in the job I have now. And the strange thing is how many of them I knew from high school. One of the girls is nuts and I am glad she does not know me. I whipped her butt in the 8th grade. Now she outwieghs me by about 90lbs. And it is good she can't remember me. And their are some I wish I did not know. Now that I am there they think they can talk me into upping the pain meds they get. Well it just goes to show they do not know me very well.

I have been sick myself. I got a shot on Monday and then od'd on cough syrup tuesday. Which caused me to sprain my ankle. I am now doing well and am glad it is the weekend. As for the weather it sucks. It is wet and icey here.

D got his license!

And we just dropped his truck off for him to drive home.

Now I am sure he will be running with his girl all the time.

I hope her parents are as strict as we are. You see it takes a village....

As for me I have been trying to get it all done but have not had a lot of luck. I am still trying to learn the billing, get the books done and live.

It will get better. I know it.

I am staying busy all the time and for some reason every one is sick. The girl I work with was sick the other day so I was working double duty. But we did just fine. I am so glad J & L got back home. Better than Alka Seltzer!

I sat for my sisters three kids today. We had a good time. One minor little blow out due to the rain but T got over it. It seems she learned how to ride her bike with out training wheels and wanted to show me. There will be other days.

Just so you know you are missed I took the time away from the hubby and posted. I have done a little visiting but I will get the rest done soon. See ya next year...

Hubby got me a 5 ft tall wind chime and a caligraphy set. I love it.

But the rest of this I could do without.

They are back and making me nuts. But since I have no privacy I have not had time to get online. I am planning on having dinner tonight with the whole family at the M-I-L's. We had about 30 people here for dinner Sunday and it was good. But once my family left I could not wait for them to go. There have been some strange things going on around here.

But I will finish this in a bit. Hubby is back and wants me to come in with him.

Just a quickie.

I am sneeking in a blog while hubby is on the way to get me.

I had a workers comp audit tonight and it went well.

I have been working a lot. The office is getting the new computer system put in this week and then the day after Christmas the new software will be in. The problem is I have no-one of which I can ask ????. I hope someone out there knows someone that does medical billing and I can ask them some things about this insurance stuff. I am sure I will do fine for the ones that are set up now. But the new patients I may have a tough time with.

As for the rest I still have not decorated the tree. I have it up with the lights and the tinsle but no ornaments yet. And it has been this way for a week. I will get it done but right now with all of the things I have to do it is low on my list. Besides it is too hard to get into the spirit of things.

I hope I still have friends out there when I do have a chance to come by and see ya. But you can be sure that when I do I will get all caught up.

Just know I am thinking of you all and I will see ya soon.......

BTW in response to Wicked Mom. I have been offered another job and it would pay a lot but I do not feel I am up to it. Besides the doc might murder me. And I do like the fact that I work 32hrs and get paid for 40. It is just setting all the other stuff up that takes so much time. And when hubby is home I can't blog. He would choke me if he knew.

Oops. I think I may have led you to believe that I just got a cell phone. I meant I just paid for my first one.

As for the job I am not sure about it. I love the job but if they do not get the system up to date I can't do the billing. Which means I will not get the money I was promised. I am also having a hard time with getting things running correctly. The boss has his daughter as nurse and she has been running the front with another girl doing the back. Now K is leaving on the 15th. So B will go back to the back and I will have the front. The thing is she has no office mgt skills. So as I try to go through and get things in order she wants to fuss.

Well Dr T will be back on Monday so we will get this straight.

I do not like feeling that I may have made a mistake in changing jobs. But worst case is I did and I will get another.

I am sure I am not the only one to get rooked.

As for the family I am not seeing them much of late. I am working a lot right now and it has caused me to be out of the loop.

We have been having a battle over towels of all things. But I have lost 5 new towels to the school. So I have forbidden the boys to take any more. So last night I caught LC trying to pack one of the new ones. He claims he was unpacking it and should get credit for that. But he had been told before many times. So I whaped him with the towel and put it away. I did give him some old old towels and told him to keep up with it and make sure it gets washed. So to date the school has cost me 5 towels and a nice leather jacket. He left it in the office and it grew legs. So he lost his bomber jacket and was dependant on a hoody for a while. The mom gave in and bought him a new one. We refused. We had bought the other one. So we felt it was her turn.

As for D. He still hates us. He thinks we are too hard on him to make a choice. Basketball practice is every day of the week. Two hours Sat & Sunday. And every day till 5 or 530. Which means he is not working much. So his money is not enough to cover the cell phone and the vehicle expenses. He thinks we should let his grampa and his mom help him if we won't. He then says he is not a kid and he wants his freedom. Well dear heart this is the way to teach you how to handle freedom. I told him at this stage he is like a person walking from California to New York. Ca is childhood and NY is adulthood. It is a long hard journey with a lot of beautiful and bad country in between. The journey is worth it if you do it right and learn along the way.

The thing is kids think that a Birthday is the key.

I want a strong good man. So I will plant the seeds to make him one.

Well i did it.

I bought my first cell phone. I got the Razor. I also got the little wireless headset. That is just the coolest thing in the world.

We went to Ft. Smith and got some shopping done but the only things we bought were the phones and some clothes. And of course Chinese food.

Hubby got one too. But he did not want the headset.

What a goober! It is just too cool.

Well I am still trying to get the computer system at work fixed. The Dr. is out this week so I will have some time to get it done the only thing is that I will have to get his okay and I am going to push his wife to have him call me. I know it is a pain. But since I do not have the authority to just spend 1500.00 of his cash. I have to have him do it.

As for the work at home it is finally going smoothly. I have got it set up and now I am just having to enter the data. I will get it done soon.

I am thinking about taking an on-line course and then a regular coding course. I think it would help. Friday I had a girl from the office come here and I frosted her hair and cut it. It turned out well. And since this was my first tiem it went well. She was very happy with it. And I guess that is all that matters. I got some housework done and now I am just chillin.

The boys are home and the mom is not happy with hubby and I. I make her stick to her schedule. And she is not one to like it.

So you can just imagine the names I am being called right now.

Oh well!!

So I am off to visit.

Rain, sleet, and snow.

We were awakened at 640am because the boys did not want to walk 3!!! blocks in the rain. So hubby drove to the mom's and took them to school. Now it looks like the schools will be let out because of the weather. That was okay because I really needed to catch up on some housework.

I have been working way too much at night. But I am trying to get most of it done while the boys are at their mom's. This way I can be nicer and not so stressed out.

Btw I bought the first present today. I found a candle that I know she will like. This is a local maker and they are awesome. When used with the burner they last for a long time and will really scent the whole house. Hubby may not be happy because I bought a honeysuckle scent for home.

Other than that I am at work alone and trying to deal with referal forms. This really sucks. And I am so glad I never had to make them do this with my former insurance. Btw we did get a price to keep the insurance the price would go from 120.00 a month to over 800.00 now that he is not getting it through his job. Good thing I went to work for doc.

And I get my first ck in the am.

Oh I so need a class or two right now on top of everything else I have to do. But it looks like i have no choice. The Lytec Medical software has died. I swear I did not do it. The girl that was doing the billing has had issues in the past. And the funny thing is I am willing to forgo my raise till the first of May in order to get the new software. And with it I get FOUR hours of training. So add to that the Medical Coding class I have to take and the Medicare/Medicaid class that I was to take in Dec being moved to Jan. The last thing I need is a long drawn out class on quickbooks. The thing is I have support but they are not open when I am here to work. See it is the pits. But I did get the payroll issue fixed and now I just have to add a ton of vendors in order to write cks. Since I have to enter a year at a time it is the pits. But with the new year it will be fine. And add to that the fact that he has another ck book and writes cks too. It is so fun. Not to mention all of the Debit and ATM transactions. But one day soon I will have time to call a buddy in Ft Smith that works it all the time.

I should start my regular schedule soon. I just hope I can get through the learning process. And you would not believe the old stuff I am having to go through right now to get all the files updated. Some people are so lazy.

I sure do miss you guys. But when I do get by I get all caught up.

But the only time I have is late at night. I no longer have time to blog from work. The other girl in the office makes lots of time for it but since she does and I make a LOT more than her I feel I have to work.

So I will see ya soon. And again thanks for the support. This is why we blog.

Oh BTW I have lost the 2lbs and another to boot. Yes I used Splenda and if you use the white it measures the same the Brow Blend is about half.

Hi all thank you so for all of the support. Well first off I gained 2lbs over the holiday but that is okay. I am back on the diet. I blame it on the fact that my mom made the dressing and a turkey. She has not cooked in over ten years. So I had to eat a lot of it. The pies I made with splenda for me were the best any of them had ever had. I guess the key is using real butter instead of crisco for the crust. But it sure was good.

I really wish I had some help with the stuff I am working on. I can say if it was the startup of a new business it would not be so hard. But to take a client that is already in the works is hard. But I will get it. As for the real job I finally understand the dang scripts he writes. Gotta love the code. I am so frusterated with the system I could scream. I am going to try to talk him into buying the update. I know it is pricey but at least it will work right.

On Wed the oldest D got a job. He now works at Taco Bell. He has worked about 30hrs since Wed. He thinks he has it so bad. But they really must like him because he has been asked to work a lot more than he was told in the beginning.

So now he will learn about taxes and bills. We still won't let him get his license till he gets his insurance and his grades are checked. He hates the fact that I am now able to go online and check them. What a great resource.

Well hubby was gone Mon, Tues, and got home at about 5:00pm on Wed. I found myself working till 1:30am on those nights. But it was worth it. I got a lot done. And now I am able to print and direct deposit the payroll. This will be so cool once I get it all lined out.

Well If you have some tips for the quickbooks stuff let me know. Scarecrow?? Cheryl?? Come on help me out.
